We're home! Here's a quick pic of the cats' opinions of our daughter.

Wah!

Yesterday when E and I were at the Durham Regional nursery, we heard a baby cry. We looked at each other and said, "That's Catherine crying." And sure enough, it was. I had always thought it was a myth that parents could recognize their baby's cry in a room full of crying babies!

Happy Birthday, Catherine!

Catherine Reese was born at 5:38am this morning! E and I instantly bonded with her, which was an amazing experience. I dropped by the house this afternoon to catch a wink of sleep and a shower while the moms were hanging out, and I cleverly forgot to bring my camera with me, so infant pictures will have to wait a bit. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning!

Oops, looks like I missed 8 days late. Too busy playing games and watching movies with E and our moms. Anyway, our daughter is 9 days late today.

7 days late

Day 7 of Baby Watch! We're hoping she comes this weekend. The docs will induce her early next week otherwise.

6 days late

6 days late. The Beast Baby says she is having fun building up the anticipation.

5 days late

I was kinda rooting for the 23rd, since that's my lucky number. Would have been appropriate. E was hoping for the 23rd because she's finding this whole 9 months pregnant thing to be a bit tedious.

4 days late

And only 6 days remaining til she's evicted from the premises.

3 Days Late

Day 3 of Baby Watch. Our daughter is apparently still looking for the exit. She regularly kicks E to inform her there's not enough room to stretch out anymore.

2 Days Late

Our little girl hasn't arrived yet! E's more than ready to have her belly to herself again.
