Yay, Catherine has made it through her first year! She's healthy, growing, and (for the most part) happy. Today Bill and I were discussing how the realities of parenting either matched or not with our expectations, and it was decided that he has more patients than he thought he would, and I have less.
Our friends came over for dinner and cupcakes, and we had so much fun. Lets just say that Catherine is going t be the most stylish little girl this fall, and there is no way she should be bored with her toys before Christmas. All of the gifts are wonderful, and such generosity is deeply appreciated. I've put some photos here on our Flickr site. Bill took some videos of her having her cupcake, and I will get them posted as soon as possible.

Wow one year old! Just seems like I was there to see you born. It looks as if you really love that cupcake. Miss C Grandma will be there to celebrate your birthday with another party. See you soon. Love you!
